Color Overlay runs entirely in your browser. When you upload an image, it is processed locally on your device and is not sent to our servers. This approach keeps your creative work private while making the tool fast and responsive, even for large files.

Image Processing

Your images never leave your browser. We draw them on a canvas element, apply a color overlay that you control, and export the final result as a PNG. At no point do we transmit, store, or inspect your files on a remote server.

Analytics

We use privacy‑friendly analytics to understand basic usage, such as the number of visits and feature engagement (for example, opacity changes or downloads). Analytics events do not include your images or any content from them.

Cookies

If cookies are used, they are limited to essential preference storage and anonymous analytics. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time without affecting core functionality.

Data Retention

Because image processing is local, we do not retain your files. Analytics data, where collected, is aggregated and used to improve usability and reliability.
